Rotating lockout hasp that holds a safety barrier or guard door in the open position – the interlock switch stays open and the machine cannot be started.

Description
The hasp is screwed to the machine frame or fence. Before work begins, the arm is turned 90° into the path of the barrier or door leaf and secured with a safety padlock. While the padlock is on, the barrier or door cannot be closed, the safety circuit stays open and the machine will not start.
Suitable for production and maintenance tasks where energy sources are not locked out, provided the machine risk assessment allows it.

After locking, always physically check that the barrier or door is held open. Before unlocking, make sure the work area is safe and everyone is clear of the danger zone.
